Chalet Marmolada

BOOKING CHALET Arabba - Sellaronda - Dolomites

Chosen For

A former alpine farmhouse restored with rare sensitivity and respect for its origins.

Where heritage and contemporary comfort coexist naturally.

A place where aged beams, weathered stone and hand-carved details preserve the memory of those who lived here before.

Over two hundred antique locks remain, each still functioning with its original key: a tribute to craftsmanship and continuity.

Modern domotics, underfloor heating and panoramic windows introduce light and ease without disrupting the chalet’s soul.

Its stone cellar wellness sanctuary and intimate spaces invite slower days, in winter snow or summer stillness.

The Spaces

Chalet Marmolada

Ground Level

The main entrance opens into a generous living area where heritage and openness coexist. A central fireplace divides the lounge from the dining space, while floor-to-ceiling windows frame majestic views of the surrounding peaks and fill the interiors with natural light. The open kitchen, centered around a large island and professional grill, is fully equipped for both private use and chef-led dinners. A long wooden dining table accommodates up to twenty guests and opens directly onto the panoramic terrace and garden. Outdoor spaces include an al fresco dining area and barbecue, designed for evenings in the open air. A ski room with private access and a guest bathroom complete this level, ensuring comfort and practicality without disturbing the home’s aesthetic harmony.

Chalet Marmolada

First Floor

The first floor is dedicated to rest and privacy. Three king-size bedrooms, each distinct in character, offer forest or village views and feature en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers. Each room includes a wooden mezzanine where additional futon beds can be added, maintaining flexibility without compromising design. The master suite unfolds as a panoramic retreat. Floor-to-ceiling windows reveal a 180° mountain view, while a wood stove, freestanding bathtub and private sitting area create an atmosphere of quiet indulgence. Its mezzanine provides further accommodation and private terraces extend the living space outward toward the landscape. A laundry room and additional guest bathroom are also located on this floor.

Chalet Marmolada

Lower Ground Floor

The wellness area occupies the oldest part of the farmhouse, entirely preserved in original stone. Here, sauna, steam bath and relaxation spaces are set against historic walls, creating a setting that feels both grounded and restorative. Large windows open toward the heated indoor pool and Jacuzzi, both overlooking the alpine scenery. A herbal tea corner enhances the atmosphere of quiet retreat. This level also houses the wine cellar, with a curated selection of local and international labels, and provides direct access to the Masetto.

Chalet Marmolada

The Masetto

Connected seamlessly through the wellness area, the Masetto functions as an independent yet integrated extension of the home. It includes a professional kitchen suitable for private chef use and staff accommodation when required. A private cinema, crafted from wood and pressed hay to evoke the traditional tabià, offers an intimate space for evening screenings. Two additional bedrooms, each with bathroom, open onto garden and terrace areas. An upper living room with fireplace and panoramic windows provides another quiet gathering space, extending onto a terrace with sun loungers. Guest bathrooms are distributed throughout for added comfort.

Chalet Marmolada

The Garden

The garden links both buildings organically, offering secluded corners for relaxation. A small independent stone house near the hot tub can serve as an additional bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Outdoor areas include barbecue space, garage access and direct connection to the surrounding forest inviting peaceful walks in summer and spring and crisp winter stillness.

The Area

Chalet Marmolada is set close to the heart of Arabba, directly connected to the legendary Sellaronda circuit, one of the Dolomites’ most iconic alpine routes. In winter, the Dolomiti Superski area begins just moments from the chalet. In summer and autumn, the same passes transform into panoramic hiking trails, cycling routes and high-altitude roads that reveal the landscape in a different rhythm.

The surrounding area reflects the authentic spirit of the mountains. Livinallongo and Colle Santa Lucia preserve Ladin traditions, while nearby Cortina d’Ampezzo, Val Badia and Val Gardena combine refined dining, cultural heritage and architectural charm. Arabba itself remains intimate and grounded, offering proximity without losing its alpine character. Across the seasons, the setting invites both movement and stillness, from ski circuits and mountain drives to quiet evenings beneath the peaks of the Marmolada and Sella Massif.
