Overview
Chalet Paradise is an alpine retreat nestled in an unspoiled area of the Primiero Valley, surrounded by forests, traditional Trentino farmhouses and the breathtaking peaks of the Pale di San Martino. Set in a peaceful natural setting far from mass tourism, the chalet offers a sense of tranquillity and authenticity, while remaining conveniently located just 15 minutes from the picturesque village of Mezzano and 30 minutes from the ski lifts of San Martino di Castrozza. Steeped in family heritage since 1887, the chalet has been carefully preserved through generations, maintaining its original character and mountain charm.
Natural materials, traditional details and a warm, welcoming atmosphere reflect the history of the home, creating a space that feels deeply connected to its surroundings. The landscape around Chalet Paradise changes beautifully with the seasons — green meadows and wildflowers in summer, and a pristine white silence in winter — offering a constant dialogue between the chalet and nature.
Outdoor spaces are designed to fully embrace this setting, with areas for al fresco lunches and dinners, moments of relaxation in the sun and evenings gathered around the fire pit, overlooking the surrounding forest and mountains. Private, peaceful and immersed in nature, yet within easy reach of nearby villages, hiking trails and ski areas, Chalet Paradise offers an authentic Dolomites experience where time slows down and the rhythm of the mountains takes over.

Chosen For
A historic family retreat preserved for over a century, where alpine heritage and natural tranquillity remain deeply intact. A place shaped by time, memory and mountain life.
Original wood, natural stone and traditional details have been carefully restored, allowing the chalet’s character to endure while introducing modern comfort and refined simplicity.
Its position, surrounded by forest and overlooking the Pale di San Martino, offers panoramic views and a rare sense of seclusion, far from mass tourism yet within easy reach of village life.
Generous living spaces and five bedrooms create an atmosphere equally suited to couples, families or small groups seeking privacy without isolation.
The garden extends the experience outdoors, with al fresco dining, a fire pit and open lawns designed for unhurried afternoons and long evenings beneath the peaks.
The Spaces

Ground Level
The entrance opens into a bright open-plan living area where large windows frame the garden and surrounding greenery. A comfortable seating arrangement and discreet TV corner create an inviting yet understated atmosphere, while an exposed stone wall preserves the alpine character of the historic structure. The dining area is set within a traditional stube, accessed through a stone archway. Here, generous windows capture views of the Pale di San Martino peaks. The fully equipped kitchen overlooks both living and dining spaces, with a functional counter allowing for informal seating. A utility room with washing machine is also located on this level.

First Floor
The first floor hosts two king-size suites, both designed to maximize natural light and views. The first suite includes an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower and open views toward the Pale di San Martino and the garden. The second suite is equally luminous, with three large windows, an en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and direct access to a terrace overlooking the garden.

Upper Level
The attic level offers a more intimate setting beneath larch-wood ceilings. Two double bedrooms are arranged here. One includes a writing desk and access to a shared bathroom with walk-in shower. The second features a writing table and forest views, sharing the same bathroom. This level is well suited for families or friends travelling together, maintaining both comfort and discretion.

The Garden
The chalet is surrounded by an expansive garden that evolves with the seasons — green and open in warmer months, still and snow-covered in winter. The forest begins directly beyond the property, with traditional alpine huts nearby. An al fresco dining table, sunbeds and a fire pit create spaces for relaxed outdoor living. From here, views extend toward the Pale di San Martino, reinforcing the quiet relationship between home and landscape.
The Area
Chalet Paradise is located near Mezzano, one of Italy’s Borghi più Belli, set within the Primiero Valley and surrounded by forests, alpine meadows and the dramatic Pale di San Martino. The setting remains authentic and largely untouched, offering privacy while staying connected to the wider region.
In winter, the San Martino di Castrozza ski area is within easy reach, while summer opens access to Lake Calaita, the Paneveggio Natural Park and a network of hiking and cycling trails across Primiero. Autumn brings quieter days in the forest, with foliage walks and mushroom foraging becoming part of the seasonal rhythm.
Nearby villages such as Fiera di Primiero and Tonadico provide cafés, restaurants and artisan shops, maintaining a sense of local life while the surrounding landscape preserves its calm, non-touristic character.
