The Area

Chalet La Val is set in a peaceful and panoramic position in La Valle, one of the most authentic and unspoiled villages of Alta Badia. Surrounded by forests, alpine meadows and traditional farms, the area offers a slower and more intimate connection to the Dolomites, while remaining within easy reach of the main ski areas and neighbouring villages.

In winter, the slopes of Alta Badia and the Sellaronda circuit are just a short drive away, offering access to over 1,200 kilometres of skiing across the Dolomiti Superski area. In summer, the landscape opens into a network of hiking trails, mountain paths and scenic routes through the Puez-Odle Nature Park, with opportunities for cycling and exploring directly from the valley. La Valle retains a strong connection to Ladin culture and local traditions, where farm life, mountain huts and regional cuisine define the experience. Nearby villages such as La Villa and Corvara offer a wider selection of restaurants, boutiques and services, combining authenticity with a refined alpine lifestyle.

Throughout spring and autumn, the area reveals a quieter rhythm, ideal for nature walks, local food experiences and moments of true relaxation surrounded by the mountains.
