The Area

Chalet Colfosco is set in a panoramic position in Colfosco, the highest village of Alta Badia, surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Sella Group and at the gateway to the Puez-Odle Nature Park. The location offers a perfect balance between tranquillity and direct access to one of the most iconic mountain regions of the Dolomites.

In winter, the slopes of the Sellaronda circuit are just moments away, connecting Colfosco to over 1,200 kilometres of ski runs across the Dolomiti Superski area. In summer, the landscape opens into a vast network of hiking trails, high-altitude walks and cycling routes, with alpine meadows, mountain huts and panoramic viewpoints easily accessible from the village.

Colfosco retains an authentic and peaceful alpine atmosphere, while nearby Corvara offers a refined selection of restaurants, boutiques and après-ski venues.

The region combines traditional Ladin culture with contemporary mountain lifestyle, creating a destination that feels both vibrant and deeply connected to nature.

Throughout spring and autumn, the area reveals a quieter side of the Dolomites — ideal for scenic walks, local food experiences and moments of slow, unhurried exploration.
